I am a creative technologist passionate about creating safer digital futures. I have 5 years experience in digital sociology, tech policy, and strategic communications. I am currently a TikTok Live Policy Manager at TikTok, exploring how policy can make the weird wide web of livestreams safer for users in the EMEA region. Prior to this I was a Product Policy Manager for the SubSaharan African region at TikTok, covering 46 countries. Here, I lead safety efforts to keep TikTok users in the region safe, localising global policies to the regional context(s) and handling high risk regional policy escalations.
I have always been passionate about internet safety, especially for marginalised communities. Hence, I cut my internet safety teeth as a researcher at Pollicy working on online harms like disinformation, misinformation and online harassment. As a Tech Policy fellow at the Tony Blair Institute for Global Change, I developed a strategy African policymakers could use to deal with gendered online violence in Africa. As a freelance correspondent, I covered issues at the intersection of women’s rights and digital inclusion. Through my career, here are some of the skills I have gained :
✨ Policy Development & Analysis
✨ Complex Problem Solving
✨Quantitative & Qualitative Research
✨ Project Management
✨ Risk Management
✨ Data Analysis
✨ Public Speaking
✨Commissioned by Meta to co-deveop an inclusive design guide for tech policy professionals.

From AI friends to humanoid robots, the world of technology is changing faster than ethicists can catch up. I started a newsletter to give an ethical angle to latest tech updates, but also dive into a topic I’m passionate about- internet culture. I named this project "Chaotic Good" because I choose to embraces the messy, complex nature of ethics in technology and confront difficult questions rather than settle for easy answers.
